Vieillerie: Do not call me "man", "dude" or "bro".

I realize that a lot of people have come to think of them as non-gendered colloquialisms, but they are still obviously rooted in maleness, and thus I don’t want them attributed to me.

Please and thank you.

That’s the only way that I treat trans women different…

Some people are sensitive  to being calling “man” or “dude”. Whatever floats their boat. I guess some people are steadfast in  their gender identity and would like to be recognized as such. More power to them. Personally, I could care less. I identify as female gendered. I don’t care what people call me as long as it isn’t a pejorative. And definitely not a perjorative particularly aimed to penalize my femaleness. THAT isn’t cool. Otherwise, call me dude, call me man, its all good. Yes they are gendered, but I don’t want male-only pronouns to be considered only the domain of men. And I don’t want female-only pronouns to be considered only the domain of women. Moreover I don’t want words to be pigeon-holing men and women’s identities.

Not sure I made any sense there but okay.
